Join us for a special evening celebrating the launch of Playing with Fire: Hebrew Doorways to the Jewish Soul by Diane Bloomfield. In this Meet the Author event, Diane will share the journey that led her to write this book—a culmination of 40 years of Torah study and teaching, weaving together traditional, chassidic, and kabbalistic insights into the Hebrew letters and the Jewish soul.
Event Details:
The evening will be moderated by Leon, who will engage Diane in a discussion about her inspiration, her deep connection to the Hebrew letters, and the teachings she presents in Playing with Fire. Diane will read and teach selected excerpts, answer audience questions, and be available for book signings.
In addition, we’ll showcase the artwork of Rabbi Dov Laimon, who played a pivotal role in the creation of Playing with Fire. Rabbi Laimon, a Scribal Arts teacher at Pardes, will display and offer his Hebrew letter art pieces for sale, adding a unique visual dimension to the evening.
