Introducing the Newest Graduates of the Pardes Day School Educators Program

Mazal tov to the newest alumni of the Pardes Day School Educators Program, who graduated this week! The new educators will teach Jewish studies in day schools running the gamut of age and denominational spectrum. Elana Rothenberg will be teaching at the Solomon Schechter Day School of Manhattan; Dammara Kovnats Hall at Rodeph Sholom, also in New York City; Avi Mandel at Maayanot Yeshiva High School for Girls in Teaneck, NJ; and Jonah Peretz at Boston’s Jewish Community Day School. We wish them luck and will continue to support their professional growth through the Pardes Educator Alumni Support Project.

Yasher koach to the newest alumni of the Pardes Experiential Educators Program! For many of this year’s experiential educators, the next step is to supplement their classical text study training at Pardes with academic degrees at our partner institutions, including the Davidson School of the Jewish Theological Seminary, Hebrew College, Hebrew Union College. Others will continue their learning at Pardes or at Mechon Hadar. And still others will return to their home communities in the US and Europe, refreshed and ready to serve as leaders and professionals.
